Il Mastello

The laundromat Il Mastello has two different locations in Trastevere: Via della Pelliccia 35 (near Piazza Trilussa) and Via san Francesco a Ripa 62. It is open 7 days a week, holidays included. You can do your laundry yourself or leave it to the friendly boys with the yellow t-shirt working there and pick it up a few hours later or the next day. The helpful staff leave at 7PM but you can get in until 10.30PM. They provide detergent, fabric softener and bleach. You can bring your own detergent and pay a lower price. They don't do dry cleaning. Shirt pressing is provided too. Il Mastello is also an Internet point, and indeed many people browse the Internet or chat on Skype while waiting for their laundry to be done.

Prices vary with the laundry's weight, from 2,70 Euro per 6 Kg to 5,20 Euro per 18 kg. The dryer costs 1,70 Euro every 11 minutes. Shirt pressing is 1,70 Euro each. The Internet costs 1,90 Euro/hour.
